Using a music method or “system†is important when working with our young singers. We need a method to explain relative pitch, music reading, music theory and more! Although there is often serious debate about which is better and what works best – It is really about what works best with the student. And that often means teachers need to be familiar with more than one (all?) music systems to teach to the needs of each student. Student focused teaching for the WIN!
