14 | Changing Voices: Interview with Roland Fix

April 2, 2016

In this podcast, our special guest Roland Fix shares wonderful insight and strategies when working with our boy singers who are going through the voice change.

Roland discusses his teaching experiences with pre-teen and teen singers in his private studio and in his middle school choir. He also shares his concern for young singers who may be working in youth choirs without the guidance of a private voice teacher.

About our Guest:
German-born baritone, Roland Fix is a graduate of the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria with a Master’s degree in Opera performance. As a voice teacher with 18 years of experience, Roland has seen his students succeed on many levels. Roland is director of the HCA Opera Workshop Program, and is in demand for master classes, as an examiner, and as an adjudicator.
