There are many different business models for the multi-teacher studio. Voice Teacher, Christin Coffee Rondeau, and Flute teacher, Sarah Robertson have created a unique teaching partnership with their studio Sand Dollar Music. Using modern online tools they share administrative and marketing efforts without the overhead of a brick and mortar location.

Christin Coffee Rondeau
With a background in opera and musical theatre, soprano Christin Coffee Rondeau brings warmth and versatility to the stage. Recent performing credits include the soprano solos for Schubert’s G Minor Mass, Haydn’s Missa Sancta Gabrielis, and Vivaldi’s Gloria. Christin also sings with the Dayton Opera Chorus and maintains an active performing schedule, including her recent debut with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. She is co-founder of Sand Dollar Music, a collaborative studio, where she teaches singers of diverse ages and abilities. Through her teaching studio, she also offers workshops, masterclasses, and provides training and mentorship opportunities for fellow voice teachers. Christin serves as community manager for The SpeakEasy Cooperative, and frequently writes about the intersection of vocal pedagogy and the voice-teaching business. Her writing has been featured at The Full Voice, in NATS Inter Nos, and in Dr. Robert Sataloff’s “Professional Voice: The Science and Art of Clinical Care.” Christin is a student of mezzo-soprano Mari Opatz-Muni. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Mercer University, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Miami University, and a Level 2 Certification in Orff Schulwerk from the University of Kentucky.

Sarah Robertson

Sarah Robertson is the co-founder of Sand Dollar Music and is the flute studio director. She resides in Dayton, OH where she has 15 years of experience as a classroom music teacher, band director, and private lesson instructor. Sarah plays in a professional flute trio, maintains performance contracts with local organizations, and plays in various pit orchestras. She’s a member of the Dayton Music Club, the Mid-Atlantic Flute Society, the National Flute Society, and Little Flutes, a growing online community of teachers who teach students ages 4-8 how to play the flute. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Music from Indiana University of South Bend and a Master of Music from Wright State University and will receive her Blocki Flute certification in the summer of 2020.
