Professional Singing Teacher, Rachel Goldenberg and Physiotherapist, Jessica DeMars are working together with a one of a kind program called Breathe, Sing, Move. This singing/physio program helps people with mild to moderate respiratory disease increase respiratory muscle strength, improve speech quality, reduce breathlessness and enhance quality of life. Just one of the many great benefits of learning to sing!
About the Breathe, Sing, Move Program
The Breathe, Sing, Move program is designed to incorporate elements of breathing patterns, breathing muscle strength and vocalization to improve lung health for those with respiratory disease. Patients with mild to moderate respiratory disease including asthma, COPD, CF and IPF are invited to register for the program that will begin September 25, 2018 in Calgary. No singing experience is necessary. With the support of the Lung Association: Albert and NWT, the cost to the participant is $75.
